Moreover, the current studies in the field of genetics and personalized medicine can soon enable healthcare professionals to predict and prevent heart disease more accurately.

The development of minimally invasive surgery and stent technology has also enhanced patient outcomes. These developments imply that individuals with coronary artery disease can lead longer and healthier lives in case the disease is diagnosed and treated appropriately.
